"I stayed at this facility because it is very close to downtown Denver. They advertise themselves as a budget level facility. They meet that criteria and go a bit beyond that. My most enduring impressions are of the friendly and welcoming demeanor of the staff persons. My room was very clean and comfortable, no super modern or stylish furnishings. It is a budget facility! The availability of free parking is a big plus for this facility. Continental breakfast could be upgraded a bit, maybe on the weekends if not everyday. Overall I was pleased with my stay. I believe I got my money's worth. When future travel takes me to Denver for a brief stay, or overnight pit stop, I will stay at the Inn at Highlands."

"Nice stopover, and it's close to South Denver. As others alluded to, there’s a literal building next door filled with drug addicts. Not sure if it’s an abandoned building or not, but there were a couple of fights, and heroin was being shot up. At night, and with a family, I don’t recommend walking that sidewalk. All said, none of that bothered me. I’m from a LA, so that stuff is there too. Just a heads up is all. The brewery behind the hotel is top-tier, and the hotel itself was nice, except the shower didn't have hot water a couple of times (bad bad bad)"

"Hotel and staff were amazing. Managers reception was a huge surprise and very nice. Not the fanciest hotel in the world. But just a great place to well maintained. A little older. The carpet in the main lobby area was a little worn. You can tell the place is older. But for the most part well maintained. Room was great and clean cans the staff was excellent."
