"We loved the room especially like if you like it to be nice and dark atmosphere and nice bright lights for a lamp it’s an amazing combination if you understand cause me I love being in the the light and dark but sometimes I can’t pic which but anyways night about lights staff was friendly and very nice they do deserve a raise"

"This is a beautiful historic building that has been renovated in all the best ways. The rooms are large and bright with tall ceilings and large windows. They have very nice soap/moisturizer products and the staff was extreemly friendly and helpful!"

"I absolutely loved this hotel! We decided to stay here overnight on our way to Norfolk, and I’m so glad we did. From the moment you walk into the building, everything smells so fresh and clean. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained, and our room was very nice and comfortable. I have to say, the bed was probably the MOST comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel! I honestly didn’t want to get out of it! The staff was also so nice and welcoming throughout our stay. As a travel agent, I always pay attention to the little things when I stay somewhere because I want to feel confident recommending hotels to my clients. Cleanliness, comfort, friendly staff, and an overall welcoming atmosphere are exactly what I look for, and this hotel checked all of those boxes for me. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. This is also a hotel I would feel very comfortable recommending to my clients!"
