“My family has stayed at nearly every hotel on Jekyll. Our current go-to is Hampton Inn. While it doesn’t have the ocean views other hotels have, I love the tree lined boardwalk. The pool is the best part of the hotel, it is shaded and heated year round. My most recent trip to the Hampton Inn was frustrating and disappointing. The desk is usually helpful and outgoing. On the other hand, I think that when you claim a refrigerator and microwave, the refrigerator should be big enough to hold food with the door closed and the microwave should rotate without sticking and stopping. Potential customers should be told at the time of booking that Rooms booked through online outside sites will mean needing to pay for the breakfast that’s advertised.”
