“Lovely site with stunning views from all rooms, and an enjoyable Penisula walk throughout the property. Dinner at the Coast Kitchen was also very nice. Our complaints were that water bottles were not refilled in the rooms, nor were dirty cups & glasses replaced. We ended up going out & buying a jug of water and having to reuse drinkware. There was also no coffee available to make in the room, and it wasn’t readily available in the main lodge outside of the hours of 6AM - 8AM. Our dislikes seem...

“We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Everything was great, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel!”

“The whole grounds including room were clean and comfortable. The new owners are updating all the bathrooms. Parking was free and plentiful.”

“Loved every minute”

“Overall, a pleasant stay at Dawn Ranch. The food at the dining area was good, and the private river access for kayaking was definitely the highlight. Select rooms are pet-friendly. Housekeeping did a great job, and staff were quick to respond to requests. The frequent text messages felt excessive, and some of the...

“It was what we expected . Good value for the area”

“Nice”

“Pool was out of action pool guy was off. Microwave was not working but the worst was the staff going home at night leaving campers without any recourse in an emergency. Our last night there we were the only campers there ( this was end of August) no staff in sight. All gates into the place was left unlocked and some open. Lots of vagrants around. Felt very unsafe, being we were in tents. Will not be visiting again.”

“part of me doesn't want to leave a sterline review because I fear they will be booked solid the next time I want to vacation there! But this place is awesome. clean room, helpful staff, amazing massage, free parking right in front of my room, and pet friendly.”

“I never leave reviews but think people need to be prepared for this place. It doesn’t look like the pictures I saw online. We checked in around 10:30 pm and there was no one there to check us in. We walked in through a back open door and we had to call the number at the front desk looking for someone to let us into our room. A man answered who said he put the “code to our room in an envelope” on the front desk. This did not feel safe to me. The room had no tv and was literally FEET from a...
