"Dogs allowed (would not call it particularly dog "friendly"). Great location close to town and the beach. Superior room was large, quiet and comfy bed."

"Very covenant location, walking distance to shops and restaurants, only 20 minute walk to the harbour. We were more than satisfied as its a budget hotel ,we though the quality of breakfast was good and our room was clean , the bed was comfortable, shower nice and hor ,nothing to complain about. "

"Nice character and quirky but very tired property. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a trip back in time and whilst functional, it needs replacing. The main hotel was comfortable and very relaxed and extremely dog friendly, which suited many guests. The food and service was very good."

"Purbeck house hotel is right in the town and close to everything. However, once inside and in the gardens, it is so tranquil, a perfect stay. Staff so helpful and friendly and meet requests and enquiries with a smile. Room was comfortable and clean and all you need for a stay. Varied continental breakfast, perfect. We will definitely return."

"Stunning views over the sea and good food. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful. The sound proofing in the bedrooms could be improved as the sound of the TV next door was quite intrusive. "

"Great location for a trip to Bournemouth, moments away from the beach, it must be one of the closest hotels to the beach area. Room was clean and just what we needed. It was great that our children had beds each rather than having to share a sofa bed. The hotel had a nice lobby bar area, we didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that. We made use of the pool which was lovely to have for our stay "
