“We had a lovely time at the Glen Clova hotel, it's set in beautiful scenery and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and our room was very quiet. Only thing I would ask for is mineral water in the room because both taps in the bathroom were running warm water so we couldn't pour a glass from there.”

“We booked an overnight here while attending a surprise 50th birthday party. We were met by Bruce who showed us to our apartment, we were over the moon with it, it was absolutely 1st class. We finished our night off in The Star Hotel bar downstairs, so was just a short trip upstairs to bed, which i thought would have been noisy tbh, but we never heard a thing. We would definitely recommend staying here, great little place.”

“My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location, nestled in its own tree filled garden, was relaxing and the hotel itself still retained the charm of the family home it was. We ate in the restaurant: the food was excellent, plenty of choice for two vegetarians like us, and the staff were very helpful. We also tried some cocktails which were also excellent. Our stay was relaxing, enjoyable and good value for money.”

“Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+”

“This beautiful hotel located in a charming victorian town was a wonderful place to stay. The staff that were present were lovely and very helpful, however, the dining room service was quite slow. It was clear that the restaurant is understaffed. All that aside, the food was delicious and our room was very comfortable and attractive.
