“Steven’s House (a Red Lion Annex across the street) is very “tired”. Exterior has severe wear with peeling paint and unkempt yard. Interior is much the same with wallpaper peeling in bathroom, a broken ice machine in the common area. The cleanliness is below expected for the price paid ( same as main hotel). Wooden railing to second floor is not really ideal with splinter potential from rough surfaces. Overgrown bushes as you exit dirt parking area are a terrible hazard as you cannot see...

“The location of the property was excellent! The room we had was clean. Two things that were not good- there is no real kitchen area,(or area to gather outside of our room) it is in a small hallway by the back door and does not have a freezer or ice available. Our air conditioner did not work properly and woke us up throughout the night.”

“There was no Hot Water for washing or showers. I talked to the staff and they said it would be fixed right away, it never was. It’s hard totakeacold shower after a hot day touring. The place was being remodeled. I think it should have been closed. The muddy parking area was hard on your shoes. Only one elevator was operable. We waited 10 minutes to get down from the 8th floor. It was scary if there was an emergency it would have been a disaster. Not Good!!”
