โThe location is perfect if you are wanting to explore Temple Bar! You can definitely hear people partying pretty late but that didnโt bother us, it comes with the location. The room is also quite small but my partner and I are both on the smaller side so we were good with that too. In addition, the staff was absolutely amazing and you had to scan your card to get to the floor your room was on so we definitely felt very safe (Dublin itself felt really safe to us in general). I had the best sleep...
โThe rooms very exceptionally clean and comfortable. The shower was fantastic (great water pressure). It was an easy walk to anything in Dublin City centre. The staff were welcoming and friendly.โ
โThe units were comfortable and really designed for those who plan to be "out and about." The rooms provide the basics and are very clean. We actually stayed at the facility twice due to the excellent location. We suggest asking for one of the upper floors because there is quite a bit of street noise on the south side that one can hear.โ
โWe would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay. โ
โRooms were small but nicely decorated. Service was SUPERB. One example: my sister asked for a Manhattan, but the bartender didnโt know how to make it. The next night, he had studied how to make it and made her an excellent cocktail. Area around the hotel was quiet, but close to a fun area with tons of great restaurants and bars. โ
โGreat hotel and fabulous experience. Great service, very clean and would be a 5 star rating of AC worked as normal. AC would not cool well and it made the room muggy and tough to sleep. Otherwise all else as expected and enjoyable stay. โ
