“We go once a year around same time of the year, service is always great , it rained and it was windy so the fire pits couldn’t go on but still sat outside, we always get a room with the balcony facing the ocean, see you next year. Usually it’s quiet but this year we heard kids running and yelling in the hallway outside our room, in the room next door was a family with small children”

“It is quite old property. Clean overall and just ok fornthe service”

“I always stay here when I am in Pismo Beach for and I love it. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and the rooms are clean and well stocked. This is my first choice for a good stay!”

“Ample free parking for multiple cars, they accepted pets, and room was clean - these are the most important to me. The water pressure in the shower is pretty weak, but it was hot enough. AC is a bit loud, and clunks on/off all night but at least it works. Hotel nice and quiet, slept well. I was surprised there wasn’t a coffee machine in the room, but was a mini frig. BYO water because tap water is not drinkable (this applies all over Pismo vicinity even at restaurants). Better value than motels...

“We found about 6 red color bugs on our pillow and it forced us to checked out early. They accepted 1day refund so it was thankful and swimming pool was great. But the small bugs on my bed was Not acceptable at all. It looked like a bedbugs. When I killed it, It showed a red like a blood. Disgusting.”

“It was okay for a one-night stay but a little run-down. The room was cleaned and made up but didn’t seem disinfected-clean (I’m a bit of a germaphobe so maybe it was just me personally).”

“Sabanas sucias en las 2 camas”

“The write up said the property was 1.2 miles from the Pismo pier. It was closer to 2 miles. No a/c and it was about 90 degrees. Room was roasting hot. Shower water pressure was awful.”

“I loved staying at Shell Beach Inn. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and quaint. I highly recommend it and will be staying here again.”
