The place was nice. It has a small social area next to a small kitchen. Can say what that’s like as I never used it but it looked fine. The staff were nice and you get a small discount for the pizza shop you walk through to get to the hostel. I would however recommend to those in japan less than a month to get something other than pizza
You get what you pay for with this hostel. It would have been nice if there was storage for your bags by your bed, saves having to awkwardly move other peoples bags when you want to grab something. Surprisingly I was very impressed with the bathroom facilities, very clean and nice extras like the powder rooms.
