My partner and I visited Japan during cherry blossom season, a lot of the hotels were very expensive. Alfit fit the bill, roomy enough for one guest but tight for two (we booked the small/standard room). We were hardly in our room so this place worked for us, but it was a squeeze!!
Pros: very clean room, great toilet, supplied comfy pajamas, affordable, awesome location (near lots of restaurants and cafes), close to transportation
Cons: nowhere to store our luggage and no drawers for clothes (1 large luggage and 1 small roll on took up a lot of floor space), funky smell that would come and go, the hot water in the shower would go from warm to scorching hot without touching the knobs. My partner got pretty red/burnt after one incident. Our room butted up to an alley (no view, just a frosted window)
Staff: polite, quick when requesting an iron and ironing board, helpful when we wanted to see other available rooms
I would stay here again, but maybe get a slightly larger room with a window that faced the street
