Great location, good shower water pressure, comfortable beds, kind staff. Breakfast was passable since it was free, but the hotel location is close to other options like Starbucks and FamilyMart. The rooms are a bit dated compared to other hotels we have stayed at, but overall mostly clean (I say “mostly” due to dustiness).

Great Location. Extremely close to shopping and restaurants with transit close by. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There is also a self serve station for any products you need for your room that you may have forgotten when packing. Definitely suggest this for your stay in Ueno

The hotel is at the heart of Ueno where shops and restaurants are all nearby. It’s 7 minutes away from the Keisei skyliner Terminal and the JR station. The room like many of the 3-star hotels are tiny yet very clean. The free breakfast though basic is a nice treat. The staff was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Location was amazing. Close to subway and great shopping. Only complaint is that the hotel is a little run down. Nothing outrageous but could use a small touch up.

The rooms were small but since we weren't in them much because we were always out doing something, the rooms worked just fine. The breakfast tastes good but is extremely lacking in choices. The staff was very helpful and kind.

A nice walking distance to Metro if you direct from the airport. Easy to locate and convenient to do shopping and eating. Great to have washing and drying machine if that is a must for you. The room size is acceptable in Japan, but it would be great to have a deep cleansing especially the toilet ( generally it’s clean but need further)

Rooms were very clean and practical. Hotel is well maintained and staff are helpful. The breakfast is basic but gets you started for the day. The rooms are small but the region and area is fantastic. (We knew and expected the small rooms so that wasn't a surprise.) There are a lot of restaurants in the area with really good options. The price, location and cleanliness made this great choice for us and highly recommended.

Close to transportation and shopping/restaurants. Rooms are small but expected. It was good enough for me being mindful of space and having 1 large, 1 carryon, and a backpack. Laundry facility was good. Breakfast was light. Staff were friendly. Would stay again for a solo trip.

The hotel has a lot going for it, especially its convenient location and friendly, helpful staff. You can tell the team is working hard to make guests feel welcome. The included breakfast was disappointing, so I wouldn’t count on it when planning your food budget. I ended up exploring nearby places, which I enjoyed, but unfortunately, the hotel’s restaurant wasn’t a highlight. The rooms are very small, and I ultimately moved to a larger hotel with better amenities. Whether this hotel is a good fit will depend on your priorities, particularly how much you value the location over space and amenities. I appreciated the staff’s efforts, but overall, it wasn’t quite the right fit for me.

The room had the usual amenities, but there were additional in the lobby. I skipped room service but they made sure to provide a bag of new robes and nath towels in a bag on the door. It was well conditioned. The bathroom was a little bit small but managable.

Really appreciate the apple tea and water dispenser in the lobby. Breakfast was simple but delicious and fast! Staff were friendly. Love the luggage storage convenience in between bookings. Building is a little dated but was ok for us. Great selection of toiletries in the lobby, even got to try &honey shampoo and conditioner! Washer/dryer could be better. Clothes didnt smell like freshly washed and did not dry even after 90 mins of drying.
