“Lovely period hotel. We had a fantastic sea view room with balcony. Indoor pool and changing facilities were lovely, only thing I’d say is that the pool tiles needed a bit of a clean, there were quite a few bits off the tiles floating in the water. Other than that, a great stay and I would definitely come back. Breakfast was also lovely, again, in a beautiful setting. Thank you for making us so welcome 🤗 ”

“Great communication from the owner Tom from the beginning as he phoned us in the morning to help us navigate through the road closures due to the air show and thousands of people attending. Had a lovely stay, comfy bed and great location. Would recommend and visit again. Just how a family owned guest house should be. ”

“Check was fast and easy. I was put in room 1 which kind of sat above the beer garden and so it was noisy. I requested a room change for something quieter and they gave room 4 which was perfect. Nice and quiet and got a good nights sleep. My only criticism was that although there was tea and coffee there was no milk options so had to go buy milk and there was no shower gel or soap in the toilet shower area. Easy fix as a coop next door. I suppose I could have asked but they already been...

“Charmante "house" (maybe Heaven au lieu de Haven) tenu par des hôtes délicats et charmants. L'accueil a été très bon et ils nous ont proposé spontanément une place de parking. Les chambres sont petites mais très confortable et cocooning. La salle de bain est en longueur, mais elle fait le job, extrêmement propre. Pour le petit déjeuner, il était copieux, chaud, frais et encore une fois, nos hôtes ont été au petit soin. Nous avons eu l'occasion d'échanger avec eux avec plus que des bavardages.”

“Really lovely little hotel (12 rooms?). Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Location very convenient for Torquay but far enough away from the noise. Beautiful 19th century property. Hosts very friendly, everyone greeted at breakfast by their names - how do they remember everyone's name??! Lovely breakfast all made to order - good variety. Would definitely stay again if in Torquay. We booked through expedia but worth looking at booking direct.”

“On first arrival the car park had plenty of space with a gentle slope to reception. Rang the bell to check in. All very pleasant. Guys name is John and he is as nice as they come. Checked in a went to room. All very nice again. It’s what you need on a business trip. Tv. Bed. Kettle and shower. Had a beer in the bar, good selection of tap beers. I’d missed the kitchen due to my arrival time but he offered sandwiches, pizza etc out of hours. Enjoyed a few beers in the bar and got my head down....
