โThis is a beautiful place with character and history as well as modern amenities. You could spend your whole stay without going off site as there are walks a cinema the heritage centre sports facilities and eateriesโ
โLoved the room, it was a comfy bed and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were helpful, chatty and very welcoming. We had breakfast most days and lunch on the day we didnโt in the pub downstairs and Alex even remembered what sauce we liked! The pub had a fab atmosphere, the food was lush and the cocktails were gorgeous. Would definitely stay again ๐โค๏ธ๐โ
โHad a lovely stay for few days and good location to explore local area, especially Steam train with Staverton station walkable distance. Food really good and we were pleased with how well they catered for gluten intolerances. Really friendly staff.โ
โStayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. โ

Fantastic shower, tea and coffee and a well stocked kitchen that was spotlessly clean.
Alexa in kitchen to enjoy music if required.
Access was easy and instructions regarding everything were in the folder in the room.
Really enjoyed our stay would definitely stay again and recommend as well to family and friends.โ
โJane the host was lovely and she was the cook as well and food was delicious the inn is over 150years old so you will have to take that into account but we had a great stay and would recommend โ
โLovely setting and views from the hotel public areas and our room. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Room spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve offering a good choice of hot & continental. Swimming pool was closed whilst we were there unfortunately but hot tub jacuzzi and sauna were open and available along with other Spa facilities. Would definitely stay again.โ
โLoved our stay at Devon House. We were greeted with a very warm welcome even though we arrived later than expected. Room was a nice size, decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. Location was great and we were within walking distance of everything we needed. Thanks for having us, we would love to come back one dayโฆโ
โWir hatten einen kurzen, aber sehr schรถnen Aufenthalt, als Zwischenstopp fรผr eine Nacht auf unserer Reise. Das Zimmer war klein, aber wirklich fein, mit gemรผtlichem Bett und sehr ruhig nach hinten raus. Das Frรผhstรผck war einfach, aber gut. Die Nรคhe zur Dartmoor Otters and Butteflies ist unschlagbar. โ
โStaff very friendly and accommodating.Very clean room, just needs a little lick of paint to freshen up the place,maybe a sweep up outside.
