“A lovely property set in a beautiful location. The host Nicky couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. The breakfasts are amazing, a wide choice of fresh locally sourced foods prepared on demand. Nothing was too much trouble. Hav already recommended the property to someone and would come back again.”

“The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend.”

“I've traveled more than 20 countries and of course stayed many hotels. However, this hotel was the best for our family in terms of services. They had separated restaurants for family and adults (only) so that kids can have more freedom. In front of hotel, there are very well equipped playground for kids as well. Staff members were kind and they booked tours for us as well. Swimming pool and indoor spa are free; but, you should pay extra for outdoor spa. We will definitely come back to...

“Good & clean”

“Friendly enough staff. Well situated, but not clean enough and the lack of air con was a killer. Perfectly positioned, but could do with some love and deep cleans between guests.”

“The staff were all incredibly cheery and helpful. The food was excellent (coleslaw to die for!). The local beer, Hicks, was a good temperature. Fantastically cheap breakfast of anything! Dogs welcome in any room. England World Cup game was televised but the supporters were put in a large TV room away from the residents.”

“Room was adequate and clean with a quirkie toilet under the stairs behind the door inside the room that I hadn’t noticed. Sarah is lovey, friendly and a really lovely host, however should be a little more direct and forceful of her rules ( ie check out times and parking). Parking is not the best as when full at least 2 cars will be blocked in completely - and annoyingly she kept trying to encourage me to park round the corner on the road- which I did not want to do ( hence booking a b&b with car...

“Clean, nice room for a single person. My private bathroom was Cosy. The staff's were above and beyond the call of duty. They worked hard to maitain good standards. Everyone was happy with their stay that i saw. Wish I'd gone to the bar there looked fantastic the morning after a party look. I missed it. Would definitely stay again. Want a double room next time. All the rooms have private bathrooms, this is not a back packers hostel, they are families rooms.”

“Beautiful lodge in a lovely location. Only a 30 minute walk into Padstow. Great bar & restaurant on site. The lodge had a lovely layout with all mod cons inside. Nice and clean with towels and bedding provided. Definitely return. Host was available and replied if we wanted to arrive early. 5 star accommodation.”
