"I understand that the building is old it’s Italy, but it needs a lot of maintenance and updating inside the building. The rooms are not as they advertised or appear in the photos on the Expedia site, Not even close. The bathroom was dirty, the chrome in the bathroom looked as it hasn’t been cleaned (polished) in months. The bidet was dirty, their was pubic hair in the shower. Shampoo, conditioner or shower gel was not offered or available, I had my own bar of soap but the shower had No holder for the soap. My room had a terrace which was nice but the plastic furniture was faded and brittle. I think it couldn’t hold 20 lbs. They had a portable ice machine that took a hour to make ice. I could go on but I will stop, not worth the money (Not Cheap) staying at this place and Expedia should take this hotel off as one of their listings.
The positives; front desk extremely professional helpful and knowledgeable of the area and surrounding areas. Great location if visiting the Vatican and Vatican only."
