"We just stay for a quick last night in Rome on our way back from Sicily and it was perfect. They arranged for our taxi to the airport room was clean. Nice location! The receptionist was peruvian made me feel like at home! "

"Good place, comfortable and good pace to be Rome, commute can be and issue, food near is not so good but there is a walking distance mall"

"Overall the hotel is good. Very clean. Room service every day. Inside the hotel it was quiet. Outside it was not as clean due to the crowd of people coming and going to the main train station. The area is extremely crowded. The hotel is located next to the station which is very convenient for transportation. "

"Matresses were really good. The room has a safe. Across the hotel there is a convenience store great if you want a glass of wine and some snacks in the room after a long day of sightseeing. The pillows are prety bad. Flat and uncomfortable. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops around. "

"Overall is good to stay at Hotel California. Easy access to the city center and all landmarks. Breakfast is okay but nothing special. The only complaint I would have is the shower in the room. It’s very tiny with no privacy, one side is clear glass and the curtain doesn’t close all the way."

"We had a one day extended stay after A 10 day Greek Isle cruise before flying home in order to finish touring Tome, Vatican and Sistine Chapel. We arrived before checkin time. They allow you to store luggage, told us some good spots to eat. We returned less than an hour and our room was ready early. Able to put bags in room and literally walk across the street and up the steps to the Vatican! Fantastic location. It is NOT a real touristy area but nothing there is except the Vatican. "

"Not flashy but a great find for us. A short walk from the Rome train station. A free guided tour of the area with a local tour guide who loves his home city of Rome. Extremely friendly staff."

"Small hotel... Quaint, quiet. Great place to stay. The desk clerk in the evening was above and beyond. My wife had family she never met come to meet her and the clerk Andrea went above and beyond to translate for us, offered to make us coffee and found a spot where we could be comfortable for my wife and her cousin to get aquainted. I will never forget he generosity !!!"
