Northern Rome 4 Stars Hotels

"In a word: flawless. The staff was always friendly and helpful; the room was lovely; the bar and restaurant were clean and attractively decorated. We loved the lavish breakfast buffet (included). The hotel was recommended by friends as a good place to stay in "normal Rome," away from the tourist centers, and it is that, yet it's a nice walk (less than 30 minutes) to the Borghese Gallery and the huge park containing it, and a short Uber ride to the Vatican, St Peter's and other major tourist...

"We have stayed at the Duke Hotel many times over the past 4 years and the service remains exceptionally good. The Hotel has character and the complimentary breakfast, wifi and shuttle are nice touches. Located close to Villa Borghese park, a wonderful place to walk on to Rome. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. OLD FIXTURES, WHEN WATER COMES WITH A TRICKLE YOU CAN BARELY SHOWER, NO HOT WATER, WILL CHARGE FOR BREAKFAST, TORN DRAPES, DIRTY ROOMS, FILTHY PLACE AND WE ARE SUPRISED THAT THE CITY LETS THIS PLACE OPERATE!!
