"We had a wonderful stay at Amanzi Hotel and truly enjoyed the property, location, and nearly every interaction with the staff. Unfortunately, one experience with a front desk employee significantly affected how we felt during the remainder of our stay.
We approached him to ask whether the FIFA game would be shown in the dining area. He stared at us in a way that felt intimidating, gave only a one-word response, and was extremely unfriendly. When I politely asked for his name, he responded, “Mr. Thomas,” and immediately demanded to know my name in a tone that felt threatening.
The entire interaction made me feel genuinely uncomfortable and concerned for my family’s safety. I was too uneasy to raise the matter with management while we were still staying at the hotel, and we intentionally avoided this employee for the rest of our visit.
Everyone else we encountered was welcoming and wonderful, and everything else about our stay was excellent. Without this experience, I would have gladly returned. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and looks into the matter so other guests do not feel intimidated or unsafe."
