“Parts need to be freshened up/ up dated, like the lift. Tha Swimming pool area, the rail rusty, floor tiles & spar changing room / shower door etc The cleanliness over most of the build was good, but parts like level 3 hall way was very poor, when the lift door opened on level 3 I was getting very worried what the room was going to be like. The room was good 😃 lovely beding⭐️ mattress ok . Staff & service brilliant from front desk to breakfast staff, Brilliant breakfast spread. thank you ⭐️”

“I liked the set up and the amenities even though I didn’t stay long enough to use them, knowing there was a pool on site and a gym will definitely help me decide to book here again. “Despite retaining the old pub name, this is now a B&B only, so don't expect a bar or evening meals. The accommodation was good if a little quirky. Our bedroom had polished wood floors rather than carpet, but the beds were comfortable and the location was quiet. Breakfast (continental) is a help yourself arrangement and was fine. In our case, check in was done without the owner being onsite. He texted us the access codes. The bus stop for Carlisle was opposite the front door. We stayed one...

“Really comfortable, quiet and clean bedroom, the bathroom was on the small side and not as nice as the rest of the room (still nice enough). The staff were friendly but seemed very busy so they just gave us the key and pointed us in the direction of the outbuiling where our bedroom was located. If you have heavy luggage or struggle with stairs our room would not be for you as there were some very steep stairs.”
