“Truly enjoyed my stay. I wanted something with a little character and not a typical hotel. Honestly booked just thinking it was an older Inn and didn't realize until later it was a bed and breakfast. I thought the room was a pretty decent price so was Pleasantly suprised I got a made to order breakfast with my room. The Proprietor is top notch when you need anything and is always happy to help. If you're ok with an older place with some character then I would highly recommend this place.”

“Dinner menu is good and servings great. We were surprised at breakfast when they allocated each room to a table. It helps when starting the day You have to choose the breakfast menu and time the night before but that's better for both the property and the guests as both will know what to expect ”

“Well located hotel for golf at Silloth. The properties decor is a bit tired and in need of some maintenance. The days we stayed there was only one young member of staff on and she had to look after arrivals, bar work and serving of food. Naturally it was a very slow and frustrating evening for customers as she was run off her feet. How she kept a smiling face I do not know. Some of us even asked if we could help her serve behind the bar to relieve the backlog. She politely refused our offers as...

“Lovely country pub and stay nice cooked food and breakfast which is decent size to start your day . Rooms and nice and roomy and comfy got everything you need all clean and tidy . The rooms attached to pub are great if you’re disabled . The staff are lovely a really nice family run place so welcoming in a beautiful little village with gorgeous surroundings peaceful . Loved it will be back again .”

“We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”
