“Nice hotel, walking distance to the blacksmiths and all the gift shops. The room was a little dated but very spacious and clean. I loved the little fireplace heater. The staff was excellent and I enjoyed the breakfast. The only issue I had was the lack of outlets near the bed to charge your phone. I attended a wedding at Gretna and the reception was held here, I really enjoyed the dinner!”

Had dinner at the restaurant which unfortunately the service wasn’t great really slow & forgot one of our parties meal & drinks order (I would understand if it was super busy but it wasn’t) but they were friendly in general couldn’t fault that. The hotel was lovely giving really cosy vibes & the receptionist was lovely. Would recommend & the surrounding area is really nice for walks. ”

“This is an exceptional find near the centre of Penrith. A spacious and comfortable guest house, great value, a short walk from the centre of town, with private parking, excellent service and a variety of delicious breakfast choices.
