โDefinitely worth a visit. We only stayed for one night but we will be back. Staff all unbelievably good. Food exceptional. Very quiet. Really good nights sleep. Highly recommend this hotel. We also did the free history tour of the castle. Do not miss this as it includes a visit to the roof to take in the views.โ
โ, and have to say this hotel did not disappoint. Staff very friendly and welcoming from check in to breakfast in the morning and check out. They had a fan in the bedroom which came in very handy as it was an extremely warm day/night. Room was very clean and had a lovely touch with complimentary bottles of water and biscuits. Breakfast was everything you would look for in morning. Thank you for a lovely stay again. Will definitely be back next year!!

โThe Crown Hotel is nestled in a quiet community near Carlisle. It is located near a train station but also has a parking area (spaces are a bit tight, designed for small cars but filled with larger cars). There is access to a private gym/fitness center on site. There is a lovely garden with seating. The morning breakfast is quite nice with many options. We stayed three nights while we explored Carlisle, Hadrian's Wall and the Lake District. โA very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. โ
โFriendly and welcoming staff, lovely studios which are well maintained and decorated perfectly with everything you need, property is in a fantastic location in the centre of town and the property has a restaurant with good quality good which is presented well.
Loved the crumpets/butter jam in the studio for breakfast, it was a lovely touch.โ
โA last-minute decision for us to stay having booked to eat in the restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Our room was spotlessly clean and more spacious than expected. We needed to look for someone in order to check in but in all other respects the staff were very welcoming and attentive.โ
