Pinnacle Mountain looms 1000 ft over the green Arkansas landscape, the beginning of the Ouachita Mountain Range. Numerous trails take explorers around the base and throughout the park, those daring can climb a milder West Summit Trail or challenge the steep rocky terrain of the East Summit.

I believe these falls were called Dawson's Falls. I wasn't able to get a good shot as there is a bridge over top of it. The sound of these falls / rapids was intense and incredibly loud. The water rushed on by with a force I haven't seen since visiting Niagara Falls. It was almost frightening.

As you look over the ledge you will find this cool sign hidden in the trees giving you some info about the falls. There is a small hike which you can take that brings you closer to the falls but since I was travelling alone it wasn't recommended as this park is home to many members from the Yogi family, Wolves, Grizzleys and Cougars.
