"A lovely breakfast with lots of choice, plenty of relaxed seating areas, good food and service. We had sea views and the beach was just a short walk away. What more could you want from a coastal stay?!"

"Good choice for the price range. We booked a double room for one night in April for 41 GBP. The check in was smooth and reception staff was friendly. Bed was comfy and the hot shower after the 14 km seven sisters hike was a relief. Negative points: The room is a bit small (which we didn’t really mind as we only used it to sleep overnight). The walls seem to be a bit thin as you can hear the feet passing through the corridor. THEY DON'T ACCEPT YOUR BAGGAGE before you check in (if you need to drop them before you go for the hike) "

"Very clean rooms, modern and fresh bedding, towels etc. Delicious breakfast buffet selection. Fabulous view of the beach from the room and the balcony. Cheap parking £2.50 for the day unitl 11am the next day. Great stay!"

"The hotel looks very shabby from the outside but the room was lovely bright and clean with a beautiful view of the seafront and pier. Bathroom window let in a draft and there was no plug for the bath but these are the only negatives. "

"Room was a little small and showing signs of ware and tare. Excellent breakfasts with fresh fruit salads, continental spread, hot food cooked to order and tasty. I did not try the lunch or dinner but I noticed a lack of vegetarian options. I also did not try the indoor pool or gym. I had afternoon tea there which was a bit pricey and underwhelming."
