“We arrived late evening but received a very friendly welcome from the guys on reception. Room clean & comfortable with excellent shower, all nicely decorated.”

“Good communal area for children and staff were pleasant. However there was a very strong unpleasant smell thoughout the hotel and in the rooms. There was also large stains on the carpet in the hallways which were wet - we assume they had been recently cleaned. Breakfast was ok - however they had ran out off pastries when we attended at 9.30. Overall unlikely to stay again due to cleanliness/smell. ”

“The hotel was as always clean and tidy with very polite and helpful staff. The only problem was with the swimming pool and spa area . The pool was very dirty and the jacuzzi was broken apparently broken for a while . This said it is still exceptionally good value and the first time of a few visits that the pool has been below standards. We will definitely go again . ”

“The spa changing rooms could do with a revamp - they are small, .cold and they don't smell great. More loungers around the pool area would add to the experience too. The corridor leading to the toilets off reception smells terribly and it was the same last time we stayed too, Other than that, the hotel is lovely, the food in the Palm Court is great and the breakfast great too. The treatments in the spa were also amazing. Bathrooms great in the rooms too.”

“Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands”

“Room was a lovely size and well decorated. Room was relatively clean, with the exception of a few dead bugs in the windows. Room service was slightly disappointing with some items not arriving, and no answer on the phone after to sort it. 10 calls and a voicemail. Breakfast was also disappointing, the cost of £18 per person was very steep especially with very little selection on offer.
