“Eployees on desk and restaurant are very kind. However, I was upset about the bathtube problem. The water flew down to the drain too slow. You'd better check Room #304. (I did nothing wrong.)”

“This is a wonderful, grand, historic building and retains the ambience of Victorian grandeur, even though there are a few scuffs and scrapes and rusted ironwork!. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and efficient and this was the case with all staff that we encountered including the breakfast staff. The room was beautifully decorated and fitted and was very comfortable with all amenities that you could want. Lots of sockets by the bed as well. Our room benefitted from a superb sea view....

Thankfully thanks to Hotels.com I eventually stayed there last night & it didn’t disappoint. Everything was pretty much what I expected , couldn’t really fault it, except maybe for the £8.00 daily parking charge, I personally don’t think that residents should be charged this.”

“I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) ”

Brilliant location near the sea and easy to walk to Barbican. We will be back next year Ken !! This time with more volleyball players who are keen to stay”
