“Clean room, Well maintained property”

“Honestly, after a number of disappointing stays recently, we weren't expecting much so we could avoid being disappointed. But, we were anything but. We were in the maple room, which had private access to outside, a nice living room, a small kitchen (no stove), a large bedroom and very comfortable bed, and a semi small bathroom that was laid out well. “Not to be dramatic but this might be the best hotel I’ve been to. Super reasonable, cute area, walking distance to shops and restaurants, really cute outside spots. Great for kids with the pool and they have books, games, and coloring pages in the lobby. Joseph at the desk was an absolute sweetheart. “What a wonderful stay. From the abdolutely nice place , beautifuly mentained, to a absolute clean room ,to a very nice loby room with all the amenities needed. The baggels and especialy the raspberry spread that was delicious, not to mention the hospitality the owners oferred was bar none. Mike made sure everybody and everything was great for a nice quiet stay. That makes it for a come back for sure. Absolutely reccomend this wonderful place 100% !!! “I booked this specifically based on so many positive reviews. Found it hard to believe it was the same property! My room was very rough around the edges, some holes in the walls, dents and missing pieces of trim, one electrical outlet was uncovered with exposed wires, some mildew in the tub, grunge around windows. Not worth $190 a night for sure.”

“I have stayed at the Green Mountain Inn several times and it is always a wonderful experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly. A nice touch is tea time every afternoon - our kids love it and so do we! The pool is beautiful especially with the two fire pits near by. The Whip has great food and atmosphere. Will continue to stay here anytime I go to Stowe. The only suggestion I have for them is to upgrade the WiFi. Still 5 stars!! Love the GMI!!!”

“We decided to go to the Vermont Reneissance Fair this year and stayed at Spark. What a great place. Very updated,continental breakfas in the morning was perfect,and the room was quite large. We really enjoyed the lackk of carpeting in the room. The vinyl plank flooring was refreshing to see. I woul recommend a stay here if you are in the area.”

“My husband and I spent last weekend at the stowflake inn. I payed my bill and got a receipt. The next day I found out that they charged $40 to my credit card. I called every day to get and explanation , noone called me back. We are great guest, we're clean and left the room is excellent shape. I was surprised that noone called me back to address these false charges.”
