โMy son and I had a lovely stay in The Old Borough Arms. Excellent staff, supremely welcoming and friendly. They go above and beyond for their guests. Cozy room, with all you need to have comfortable and enjoyable stay. The highlight: The most delightful breakfast on the terrace! Definitely recommended.โ
โWe wanted quiet, peaceful, beautiful, unique and considerate and thatโs what we got. To be woken up by pheasants and lambs, dinner at The Plough, logs being burnt inside and out and amazing views and walksโฆ it was all there.โ

โGreat stay, we will be coming back over the next few weeks. Shoutout to James who was the reception host who made us feel at home. Lily also was great at organising the stay and making sure all my questions were answered and gave us an early check in. Really pleasant stay - great team of people all round. โ
โEverything about our stay could not be faulted. Friendly reception on arrival. Told all we needed to know straight away and made to feel very welcome. Separate restaurants as we had our dogs with us and we were the only ones in ours but still were treated very attentively. Good varied menu with several specials on offer. Prices are reasonable and on par with others offering a similar service. Breakfast was a limited offering but still very good.

โVery clean and cozy place but if you donโt have a car or a friend who could give you a ride itโs better to use a hotel in the central village. If you drive this is the hotel. Its swimming pool is very nice as well as its garden. โ

The host and hostess are lovely and their entire focus is on making their guests' stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. It had everything we needed, and we felt really welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our dog was treated like a guest too, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would definitely come back.โ
โLovely and quiet location with comfortable, clean rooms, a good breakfast and with safe parking. The country house is just off the A21 within an easy drive from Hastings and St. Leonards. I would be happy to stay there again. โ
