“Winchelsea is a fascinating historic place. The ancient New Inn is a central part of it. For a night's stay it's fine: our room was comfortable enough and had a good view. Breakfast and supper offered average pub fare. What the New Inn really needs is fresh investment: the public areas are tired and e.g. our TV/ remote was worn out.”

“We had a great stay here with a lovely view over to camber castle. This hotel is in a perfect location in the town just around the corner from the church, mermaid street and Lamb House. Outside is a lovely viewing point. It was very peaceful and quiet at night. There is a little bar downstairs which was handy for a post hike drink (lovely bar room and quiet).
