Food and drinks in the bar were very good with a nice atmosphere The spa was very disappointing though as the pool was far too cold and most of the spa type features (jets etc) were not working. Also we mistakenly left an item in the room which the hotel staff told us was not handed in which is again very disappointing when staying at an upmarket hotel."

We appreciated the supplied coffee pods and the apartment was well stocked with linens, towels, cleaning and bathroom supplies, clothes hangers etc. Having parking was a very nice feature (since the location isn’t that walkable to downtown Oxford, so having a car was necessary for us). The apartment is on the top (3rd) floor without a lift, so carrying up our luggage was good exercise! The location is a quiet residential neighborhood so we appreciated the peacefulness at night. Overall we thought the apartment was great value and very much suited our needs."
