"It's super affordable, lobby was inviting and decorated for the holidays, young man at the front desk was very polite. There's ice machine and a microwave available on the lobby floor. Room was pretty clean. Had a small fridge to keep things cool. We checked for bed bugs etc. None were found. Bed sheets weren't dirty but we have a feeling they weren't changed. They had very fuzzy balls. Maybe it's just because of the kind of fabric which everything sticks too. We usually bring our own sheets so we didn't care too much. They have smoking rooms and non smoking smoking rooms. Hubby is a smoker so we reserved for a smoking room. Smell wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. There was ashtrays available, soap, lotion etc in the room. They can do better with towels but for the price of the room maybe shouldn't expect too much more. Location is not bad. It's lonely on the front street but there's plenty of shops on the corner. Deli, groceries, restaurants, hair and nail salons, urgent care and hospitals are not too far,car dealership. The neighborhood is what you would expect from NYC. I'm from here so felt right at home. Transportation is also close by. You have the 4,D,2 train lines close too and a few different buses as well. You have Botanical Gardens, Bronx Zoo, Van Cortlandt Park and Golf course near by. Overall we're happy with the stay during our xmas week. "

"We thought we rented the entire property, but was half of it. expect a lot of stairs. No bath tubs but two showers. some door knobs and locks need maintenance, but overall nice clean rooms."

"Horrible. When we got there day of for our booking. They didn’t send us a code for the door and we were locked out for hours. It took the neighbors to contact them for them to call us and tell us that our side lost power in the morning yet they didn’t want to message us and let us know before hand and wasted our time. So we were searching for hours for a hotel to stay at because most of them couldn’t fit a group our size.Also the address on the booking is not the actual address it was the house next to it so we woke up and inconvenienced a family as well. Overall this the people who manage this booking was lazy and extremely unprofessional. I’m surprised we even got our refund."

"I was fooled by the pictures. Upon check-in, they require to zelle cleaing fee. When I finally got inside, I found absolutely nothing lux about this property, no comfort and hospitality. The broken floor welcome me, all 4 beds are broken, only 2 TVs, moldy restroom, zero confort. They left 4 towels for 6 people for 6 nights. I had to request more towels. I had to scoop water fromthe shower to flush in the toilet because water would not drain. Half roll toilet paper was left. If you take the risk to book this place make sure you come with own towels, toilet papers. They would not turn on the heat."
