"Used hotel to sleep at night as was out most of the day shopping and trips by train. Beautiful scenery as had beech opposite hotel and a tram to take up and down from the beach."

"Generally a value-for-money hotel. While the public areas were immaculately maintained, the room we were given could benefit from a makeover. For example,the small seating unit was broken at its l-shape join. Also, an ironing board was provided, but no iron. The buffet breakfast was plentiful, though a bit reminiscent of a roadside cafe ie not in-keeping with the hotel's image - though reasonable considering the price"

"Amazing place to stay excellent.friendly staff very helpful also the sauna,steam room and pool and gym a added bonus. The grounds was superb good value for money has a frequent visitor to York will def go back to Milner.so many diffrent places to sit and relax. Amazing,Amazing breakfast 10/10 x"

"Stayed overnight in a 4 poster room nicely decorated and spacious with a smart en-suite shower room which looked recently refurbished. Check in staff friendly but waiting staff not so ! Good pricing for the value and close to all amenities, 10 minutes down snickets to the front ! Good overall breakfast fruits a bit lacking but hot dishes are fine."

"The hotel in general was nice and clean the food was nice and the staff were lovely nothing was too much bother the swimming pool is lovely only thing is it's only small I will go back again has overall we had a lovely stay"

"Lovely hotel, rooms a bit old fashioned but very clean and exceptionally good value for what we paid. We didn’t partake in breakfast or dinner as we had friends staying nearby and we ate out with them but we did purchase teas and coffees which were good. We will definitely be visiting again soon!"
