“A lovely hotel, great food and a fantastic breakfast. A full English that left us feeling full! The Daily Menu mentioned "Crispy Doreen's Black Pudding" on the Grazing Meat Board. We didn't find out who Crispy Doreen is, but her Black Pudding was great! The steaks are pricey, but the rest of the menu seems reasonably priced, and the food quality was excellent. The "Wagyu" room was a good size, and well decorated with a nice deer theme. Nice overhead type shower, easy to adjust, and once...

“The stay was wonderful and we were treated with personal care. The only negative was that our room needed a little bit of repairs, given that the building is several hundred years old. Everything worked fine, but there were a few creaks in the floor that were in need of attention. The issue was limited to our room. The rest of the building appeared to be in great shape. By the time a reader sees this comment, the issue may have already been taken care of.”
