"Staff pleasant and competent. Room comfortable with a very comfortable bed. Rooftop lounge is delightful, service wonderful. One problem, bathroom small. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor because the shower curtain was too short and there was no drain for water flow."

"The hotel is quite good inside, what lowers the quality a little is that near it there are buildings that make it look like a shady neighborhood, but inside the hotel is like any other, if your goal is to get to know the city without spending so much, it is an excellent option since it is close to the subway and you can move quickly, I would definitely stay at this hotel again, for a next visit"

"This is the second time since March we have stayed, 3 & 4 days each time,respectfully. Room was clean and ready at our check-in. The hotel is not brand new, but the beds, towels, sheets, and personal care products, like shampoo, feel fresh and very up-to-date. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient!! The location on the corner of 57th & Lexington, is well located for the Upper East side. The rates are very competitive compared to other hotels in the area. Hotel 57 is quiet, though it is on too busy streets, so NYC noise is part of your stay. My wife and I plan to stay here 2 to 4 times a year as we visit our daughter. In short, a very nice place to stay while visiting The Big Apple! 🍎 fell new, t"

"Housekeeping and Guest Services went above and beyond in hospitality and providing for all of our needs - even found a pot & pan for us to make eggs on the burner in our room! Excellent location with local transportation, shops and restaurants in the area. Room was quiet (except for the a/c, but this is normal for hotel heat/air conditioning systems) and very comfortable."
