“Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights
Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff.
Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari.
Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up.
Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book.

“We stayed for one night for the Safari. The property is well maintained, clean and it is as described. The owner is very responsive, offer good service. We enjoyed the breakfast included in the reservation after the Safari. I would definitely recommend this place. ”
“Agthira river camp was excellent. The staff were all friendly and the room was so nice. Looking onto the river was very relaxing and hours were spent watching the monkeys. The buffet in the morning and evening was great. The safari was booked via the hotel and was a great experience.”
“Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation.”
“We stay group 18 person have 8 rooms. Everything is good.Is like 4 star hotel.

“We loved our time here whilst visiting for safari and we couldn’t recommend staying here enough. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and the hosts made the experience extra special, everyone was so friendly! Food was delicious and plentiful. “Really wonderful welcoming stay. The room was a bit musty smelling, and there were ants, but this was overshadowed by the managers hospitality. He really went the extra mile - even going to get beers for us as the shops were a bit far away :)”
“Worst hotel I’ve been to in Sri Lanka and completely overpriced. The pictures must either be well PSed or are from two centuries ago as everything is old, run down and dirty now. We were the only guests on both the day of arrival and departure which was a bit weird and the staff was talking outside our door the entire night. The a/c is from the 18 hundreds and louder than a fighter jet (metaphorically speaking). I can highly not recommend this place!!!”
