"There was a baseball tournament and the hotel was packed with kids. However, the hotel was quiet when in room. "

"The room was clean and well-taken care of. The bed was comfortable. I liked the quiet mini-split air conditioner, plenty of cool and no loud noise while trying to sleep. The staff in the office were very friendly and polite. The only thing I did not like was the small bathroom with the piece of wall that sticks out into your arm at the sink. We'll probably be back next year :)"

"It was nice with a rooftop pool. Room size perfect for 2 people. Room very clean. Housekeeping ladies were lovely. Front desk check-in was quick and efficient. People at front desk were friendly and accommodating. Short walk to the beach or bay. Great restaurants are in walking distance. Nightlife also in walking distance. "

"We loved our stay at the Surf Shanty Motel! The room was impeccably clean and adorably decorated! It was located on a quiet street just a quick walk to the beach. Perfectly close to easily pop back to the room or car! Andre, the manager, was so friendly and kind, very attentive to our needs, and made our vacation even nicer! "
