“Basic but good ”

“Only stayed 2 nights for the air show so the location was the key factor as majority of other hotels nearer to the event were fully booked. We have stayed in this hotel for the air show on numerous occasions, but unfortunately on this occasion we found the hotel to be a little bit tired in its décor and overall appearance. we can't comment on anything else as we didn't have anything else other than a good couple of nights sleep.”

“Great stay, very clean room, good value for your money and 15 minute walk into centre. Room was excellent apart from no air conditioning but a fan was provided. ”

“Property under work conditions. Builder's works. Out side & in parking area. Not that it stopped peaople from doing things. But things still being sorted. Under staft at times especial sunday morning everyone leaving to go home one barr staff to deal with reception. Barr. Food peoples wants & needs. Breakfast ect . Needed two or three staff in my opinion. Aside from thay excellent. Thank you. I will be back.”

“Polite and helpful staff. Very attentive. Regularly checked whether we needed anything. Tea, coffee and biscuits available.Toiletries also provided . Very convenient to shops, eateries etc. ,Taxi service available close by. Highly recommend ”

“Delightful hotel for my stay with my teenage son. Really friendly owner and lots of interesting historical pictures/info. So helpful to have fridge and microwave in our room and access to guest kitchen. It was very hot (attic room) but fans were provided. The shower was good and the beds very comfortable. Great!”
