“Nice superking bed. Small balcony with two chairs and a table looking onto a golf course. You do need your own transport. There is a railway station a few hundred yards walk away but the trains only stop there twice a day. Really nice helpful staff.”

“All staff I encountered where exceptionally friendly and helpful with good knowledge of local area. Lovely choices of full hot and cold buffet breakfast. Fantastic evening meals in the restaurant, though limited choice if staying more than two nights. Amazing location just a few hundred yards from the Cathedral and Castle at a reasonable price. Very clean comfortable room overlooking the Cathedral with everything you need. Best sleep ever! Definitely returning.”

“Stayed here a few times when visiting family. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, really sets you up for the day. Living in the US you don't get breakfast like this. The only thing I would like to see is the amenities in the bathroom more eco friendly. Liquid hand soap as opposed to a bar. Some hotels even have the dispensers in the showers. This would have been handy for our shower as you had to put the shower gel on the floor. Coffee, not used to making this with...

“I was running late and they rang me to make sure they would be there when i arrived, great service. Warm welcome quick check in, took us to our room carrying our bag, great service. Furnishing all the way to room excellent. Room was huge (told it was one of the smaller ones! Huge settee with a large telly above it. What looked like a full kitchen setup ie. Cooker hob sink plenty in a slim units well equipped. A huge very comfy king size bed. At the end of the room was a free standing roll top...
