"Cortiina had a great location in Munich, minutes from everything in the Aldtstadt, and it was generally quite comfortable and well appointed. The staff were also friendly, and check in and check out were easy. My main complaint about the place is that it was overpriced for what you got, and designed like an obstacle course to get you to spend more money. The breakfast (which I skipped) was a whopping 35 euros, the bottle of sparkling water I got at the bar was 8.90 euros (which I should have checked on before I ordered it), and the coffee I had delivered up to my room while preparing for my early morning departure was 7.80 euros (here unavoidable as I was up before any coffeeshops, and there was, crucially, no in person coffee making device). They also had some guy take me up to my room to show me around. Perfectly nice guy but the help was unnecessary, and was seemingly a way to fish for tips. As I said, there was no in room coffee making equipment, and just one free bottle of water with an unmarked but sealed syrup jar next to it, presumably to convince you it's all part of the package to make some kind of Italian soda, but presumably it's at a cost, too. Plus there was the overpriced mini-bar. So if you get a good deal on the room it's a fine stay, but be prepared for having to dodge upcharges while you're here."

"Great hotel in a central location. Excellent starting point for exploring Munich. It is a very clean hotel with a wonderful included breakfast. I walked to most of the tourist points of Munich without issue. I also walked to the gardens which were a little further, but still within reason. The downside is that it is very central and has a bar/McDonalds right beneath his so has a lot of stragglers outside the doors at all times. It is also on a very busy street and above a bar, so it is very loud until late at night."

"This gem located near the train station was delightful. It had the luxury feel without the luxury price. The room decor gave a very welcoming and comfortable feel. The attached restaurant was very convenient and the atmosphere made for a great dining experience. The staff were very nice and helpful. This was a truly enjoyable stay."
