"Rooms very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was basically right there. Awesome view from balcony. Will be staying again in the future"

"It’s the construction. It was an eye sore and loud at times. My beach view was 85% obstructed by a new bar they are building. We could see the ocean at an angle. Like looking to the side and then big black plastic fences were a part of that side view. Disappointed. But the rum runner poolside bar and courtyard were awesome and helped. I also felt like inside my room looked exactly the photos. Very nice. Overall it was good, the staff and adorable courtyard made up for dealing with the construction."

"Second stay here - WiFi dropped every 15 minutes & tv options were terrible (could not cast from device, cheap remotes require constant scrolling to find channels & no guide provided); one elevator permanently out of order so when other broke down had to climb 8 flights of stairs. Comped parking (for about $100) for the trouble but shows they aren’t keeping up."

"We have stayed here 4 times. Our experience is always great. This time we had a room that had the shower tub combo. Next time I will request shower only. The shower was a little outdated and you needed to pull hard on the knob to release the shower water. But not a big deal, just older than when we had a shower only. Only mentioning for others that dislike a shower tub. Overall the hotel is really staying up to date. If you are looking for a great location , on the beach and easy access to everything on Clearwater Beach, this is it! Especially for families. The hotel staff is super friendly and very helpful! We will be back!!"

"Hotel overall was ok. Valet and bell services were very lacking while the housekeeping staff were wonderful. The resort fees charged were of no value to us. Beach amenities should be included in these fees. Of the 180 degree view from our gulf view (upgrade) room, maybe 10 degrees was gulf view."

"I wish I had something positive to say other than the location. But, the rooms are run down, mold, missing paint, bathroom beyond unacceptable with mold on the floor and tub. No shampoo or hair dryer. The bed is NOT a queen size, is more of a Full size. Old mold carpet, I mean I can go on and on, but there’s no point. The front staff is not very understanding and wanted to “upgrade” to a view room/ so I guess Expedia guess get the run down stuck in the 90’s room. The sofa looks like it’s infested with bed bugs, the stench that comes off it is so unacceptable. They can do better or really expedia should not have this location as a partner"
