“Very run down. Poorly maintained structure. Evidence of water leaks in the bedroom and bathroom which had a strong smell of damp and long term cigarette smoke. One Bedroom window was nailed closed, no ventilation and although electric fans were provided, they only circulated warm air. Doors banging throughout the night disrupting sleep. Shower was a drip hose. Altogether a very bad experience which I would not recommend. This hotel is by far the most rundown place that we have ever stayed....

“This hotel was very clean and very well maintained. The room was a bit warm with no AC and it was unusual that the lobby area closed at 10:30 pm as it would have been a nice place to sit and have a drink or play cards. Everything else was great!!”

“As a bikepacker, I arrived at the Kilmartin hotel with my bike and bags after a long day riding off-road. The room was excellent. All the facilities I need. The staff was very kind and helpful.
