"We chose to stay here for the air conditioning and what we thought would be a lovely hotel. The hotel reception - on check in the staff were helpful, quick, efficient and communicative, it went downhill from there. The hallway to the bedrooms had dirty plates cups and glasses down there for the best part of the entire first day and evening! The breakfast, at £22 per person it was low quality food for a premium price! You’d be better going into Tring! Our shower, tiny piece of glass stopping...

"A nice stay, with a very good breakfast. A few maintenance issues in the bedroom which needed addressing with a paint brush, and some cleaning issues, which were loose cotton threads from the sheets scattered everywhere. Simple stuff to do to get 5 stars, and to ensure standards are as they should be."

"Shame we're not local or will visit Wendover again anytime soon, as we'd stay here again, no hesitation. Great location right in the middle of the town. Secure carpark. Lovely room, great size, neat, clean, can't fault it. Very helpful manager and staff. Breakfast choice was great. Bar and all grounds kept clean and tidy and the whole place had a lovely 'at home' feeling - shame we couldn't stay longer! Thanks for the hospitality - highly recommend."
