"Nice property, well equipped kitchen. Great location ( near pub, shops, fantastic cafe. ) The only downside was automatic check in didn’t go smoothly and very hard to contact anyone so took almost an hour of hanging around before we could access room. "The property is situated on a farm. It’s a static mobile home but it is well equipped with comfy beds, two bathrooms with lots of toiletries. "Stayed in the Willow Farm cottage and it was really excellent. Bedrooms were comfy and cosy, and the lounge was cosy and warm with the log burner which was a real plus. The cottage setting is really perfect in the countryside and on this occasion with the snow it was like a winter wonderland paradise. The chalet was very clean and well equipped; the kitchen had every utensil we could need! "This was my first time staying at a Holiday Inn Express. We’ve usually been “brand loyal” to a certain purple‑themed chain, but I have to say I was genuinely impressed. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and really enjoyable. We also had an evening meal in the hotel restaurant on Friday. While the food was nice and tasty, I did feel the price was a little high — just over £65 for the three of us, and our 17‑year‑old eats very little. Even the server double‑checked the total twice, which made me think it wasn’t just me. I appreciate that prices are what they are these days, but it did stand out. Room and beds were extremely comfortable, Ability to turn off and control the temperature of the aircon was appreciated. Unlike some other Hotel chains that fact that there was actually plug sockets next to each side of the bed was really appreciated. I agree with a previous review the parking spaces are ridiculously small, even the disabled bays outside the hotel are stupidly tiny, there are some larger ones in the "overflow" area. Remember to check your registration number in at the check in desk though."
