Bedretto Valley, Switzerland hotel rooms at the Independent

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Bernerhof. The room was tidy, comfortable, and adequate, as we did not spend much time in the room. It was a little small, so if traveling with several large bags, you may choose to consolidate, or unpack and stow bags. The breakfast was plentiful and standard. We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff, they are bilingual, and were flexible with us within reason for travel/walking/parking arrangements. There are only about 8 dedicated spaces, which was not an issue while we traveled outside of peak seasons. It may be worth reserving during peak if you plan to have a car. Once you park though, there is no reason to drive as the hotel is quite walkable to all train and gondola stations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Bernerhof for the friendly staff and location!"

"I don’t like the mattress. It’s a little bit smaller than the bed frame. It can not cover the corner of my bed. I bumped to the corner wood more than 3 times. My husband did it, too. I got blue and black on my knee later. However, this hotel is an awesome place. I enjoy staying here greatly."

"A really nice, clean and well fitted out apartment, secure underground parking and a laundry room should you need it. Staff were always friendly and helpful if you needed anything at all. Everything you could need within a short walk from shops to travel links whilst being located in a stunningly beautiful part of the country."
