โWe had a lovely stay here and was in a great location for visiting Yorkshire. Would recommend especially for a family of 5 which can sometimes be difficult to find rooms to stay.โ

โThis was my third stay at The Royal Hotel. The beds are really comfy so I slept like a log. It is an old building and has lots of character. The hotel is near a supermarket, town and local shops. I will definitely be staying again. Thanks to everyone at The Royal hotelโ
โCame to visit the Brew York taproom and this was a great location (we climbed through the fence to get there). Ample parking and large comfy bed. Big walk in shower. Would stay again.โ
โChecking was great, and the room was sufficient. However, when I went to use the shower in the morning, the bath had lots of debris, and gunk in it, presumably from the person who used it before. The carpet also hadnโt been cleaned, which put me off somewhat. The bedding did seem fresh, but I didnโt want to take a shower, or have a tea and coffee in the morning. The cleanliness really let this place down.โ
โReception staff were a delight; provided comprehensive overview of hotel and facilities on arrival; very welcoming too; nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. Bar staff amiable and efficient. Room upgraded at no cost which was a welcome surprise. A comfortable nights sleep was experienced in a clean well maintained room. Will definately stay here again. Thanks to the Hotel team who clearly work well together :) Top marks...โ
โThe staff went above and beyond I unfortunately fainted that evening in the bar paramedics were called the owners stayed up with my partner till I was collected at 230 am fantastic service โ
