“This is a beautiful property with interesting history. The room was comfortable. The innkeepers are very gracious and helpful. While not located in the heart of the historic district, it’s a short walk away. Quite honestly, it’s better than being in the heart anyway - more quiet and easier parking. There is a fantastic bar just behind the house, and Snallygasters (best restaurant in town) is next door. ”

“Our stay at Moore House Inn was great! The family that runs the Inn is nothing short of amazing. They were so welcoming and although we had car issues during our stay the couple did everything they could to ensure we still enjoyed our visit! The inn was comfy and welcoming! “It's not fancy, but it is very clean and comfortable. Nick is very helpful and interested in providing what you need. The view is spectacular. I loved the number of outlets in the room. I use a cpap. There were options both sides of the bed to set that up. You also have numerous places to charge you electronics. The Blue Ridge Parkway is easily accessable.
