Blythe Island State Park, Brunswick hotel rooms at the Red Roof Inn

"We love this place. It is an older hotel, but we enjoy the breakfast, pools, and quick beach access. The rooms are just enough for what we need. "

"There was a putrid smell in our room. The staff said it was due to a paper mill in the area (although this was a Sunday) and moved us to another room. The smell was less obvious there but still present. It smelled like sewage. The smell seemed to pervade the entire area, even when we checked out. The television reception was poor and kept “stuttering.” Also the bed was much too soft and the bed linens were very thin, likely needed replacement. There was no ice bucket in the room."

"Wants to be a resort and barely qualifies as a BnB. Obviously, a hands-off facility. Dirty used clothes still in the closet. No bath floor mat so had to use bath towel. 1 fork and no spoons!! Maybe a restaurant but no times posted and closed on weekend. I ooked a hotel/resort and got a bargain basement stay for a HIGH cost payment. "
