“Everything was perfect”

“We arrived late as we had a bad experience at another hotel. We wete greeted with a warm smile and friendly service from the receptionist. The bar staff were so lovely and even though we were just after yhe closing hour they made sure we were fed after our exhausting trip. Accommodation was amazing ample space and facilities, highly recommend and brilliant value for money”

“It was good stay overall but there was pet hairs all over the property which I didn't like ”

“Fantastic setting to explore Cornwall. Lovely food served in restaurant in evenings. Reviews of uncomfortable beds were not bourne out and was very comfortable. Only thing that lets it down is the breakfast in the B&B. For 2 days out of 3 continental breakfast in room not restocked, including milk so couldnt even have hot drink. Rather to have a reduced rate for bed only than promise something not delivered”

“Einfach wunderbar und sehr komfortabel! Das Hotel ist in einem ehemaligen Gefängnis. Aus 3 Zellen wurde ein sehr luxuriöses Zimmer mit Bad gemacht. Der Check-in war bemühend und holprig, klappte dann aber auch Längerem... Irgendwie hatte das Hotel keine Verbindung zu Hotel.com und meine Buchung war nicht ersichtlich. Das Zimmer war sehr, sehr luxuriös mit sehr viel Platz mit bequemen Betten. Es hatte Tee und Kaffee, jedoch keine Milch im Zimmer. Das Bad war sehr gross und luxuriös mit einer...

“Very friendly host in the owner. It was a shame that the restaurant we were expecting , for evening meals, now closed due to a lack of a chef. The building is a quirky Elizabethan hotel with all the quirky uneven floors etc. ”

“Lovely location to stay and very comfortable room One of the reasons that we booked this was to take advantage of a laundry because we were travelling - found out though that the information on the booking site was out of date and no laundry services were available Lovely breakfast and in general the staff did their best to help The information in the hotel info booklet was a bit confusing and out of date ”

“The hotel was fabulous and I love Tavistock. We were a little disappointed with our room - it was tiny and you couldn't look out of the windows as the glass was obscured. We definitely didn't expect that but I imagine it was because we booked theough an agency.”
