“I was very disappointed, as I booked a room in the black boy hotel, but was given a room in an outside Annexe quite a way from the hotel. Also we had to climb 3 flights of stairs with our luggage and no help. On specking with the receptionist I was informed the problem is with Expedia as they will not allow the hotel to describe the rooms correctly.”

“Hotel is in a good location, ample parking. It's a stately building fairly well maintained, though the elevator access on floor 1 is hindered by the carpeting that restricts the door from opening. Yes you have to manually open the door to access the 50 + year old elevator and make sure it doesnt swallow any body part when the door closes, very cool. The food in the attached restaurant/ pub was good, though the service was hindered by only 1 person doing everything, hotel check in and restaurant...
